Joseph Parker Could Receive Possible Ban After Positive Drugs Test
Former world champion Parker produced a positive sample as part of a doping test administered the very day he fought in 11th-round stoppage against UK boxer Ipswich-born Wardley.

Wardley and Joseph Parker participated in a pulsating contest staged in the UK capital on 25 October to establish the identity of the next in line for the WBO to reigning heavyweight king Oleksandr Usyk.
The fighter had positioned himself as the primary candidate to meet Usyk subsequent to compiling an impressive six consecutive victories, but placed his contender position at stake during the bout and suffered an 11th-round defeat.
Positive Test and Possible Outcomes
A standard screening given to the boxer through the anti-doping organization the day he fought came back positive and leaves Parker with a battle to clear his name.
His promotion team published a statement which read: "The anti-doping body notified all required parties about Parker had a positive result subsequent to a drug screening carried out on the fight day. During the ongoing inquiry, no further statements are forthcoming for now."

Parker earned the title of heavyweight champion back in 2016 before he lost his championship belt through a points decision to Anthony Joshua at the Millennium Stadium two years later.
